Nebraska Firefighters Memorial Garden
Be
a part of honoring firefighters who have given their all in service to
the safety and protection of our State:
The Nebraska Firefighters Museum & Education Center will be a year-round
destination point for firefighters and EMS, as well as a landmark
attraction for Interstate 80 travelers from all across the United
States! The Nebraska Firefighters Memorial Garden will be our exciting
Phase Two in developing our campus.
The Memorial Garden will be located at the northeast corner of the
Nebraska Firefighters Museum & Education Center facility. It was
designed by the Nebraska Firefighters Foundation Board of Directors in
conjunction with BD Construction of Kearney. The purpose of this
beautiful Memorial Garden will be to honor the fallen heroes of the
firefighting service in Nebraska.
The Nebraska Firefighters Memorial Garden will be a beautiful lakeside
area that will serve as a quiet place for reflection and as a location
for memorial services, gatherings and events.
We believe that the courageous individuals of the fire service and EMS
should be honored for their service and sacrifice. So, we invite
individuals, businesses and corporate sponsors to link arms with us in
paying tribute to firefighters and emergency personnel for their valor
and bravery in service. By purchasing memorial name engravings and
sponsoring the special features in the Nebraska Firefighters Memorial
Garden, one will ensure that those who made a difference will be
remembered and admired for generations to come. All sponsored features
of the garden will include a nameplate to recognize the generosity of
the sponsor, and each memorial name engraving will be personally
customizable.
