That allows for repeat visits.  Good for kids too, because of the fire prevention and safety tips within the museum. Very kid friendly. also, has a quality Memorial Garden behind the museum recognizing and honoring the men and women who have dedicated themselves to fire and rescue service throughout the state."

"My grandson had a lot of fun making the siren sound and got to ring the bell he also enjoyed playing inside the firetruck and putting on the firefighter outfit and hat. There are a lot of nice pictures and firetrucks to enjoy."

"If you have someone in the family or a friend who is a fire fighter you need to see this museum. It is not big nor is it expensive to visit. It has a 1973 caddy ambulance that was still in use till a few years ago. That caddy is bigger than most boats. There is a ladder truck that tells the story of how it came to be. There is a notebook that talks of different disasters that fire fighters have dealt with in the area."

"If you have anyone who gets into fire trucks in your family or has served as a firefighter, this museum is a must. Located right off the interstate next to the Great Platte River Road Archway, it is really convenient and a cool place to stop."

"I really enjoyed the museum. It had a lot of common sense information about how to prevent fires but sometimes we all forget some of this important information. As dry as a lot of this country is, it was a good reminder that the main reason for any fire is YOU. There were also quite a few firetrucks to look at. Remember Smokey the Bear--he is there."
