Very kid friendly. also, has a quality Memorial Garden behind the museum recognizing and honoring the men and women who have dedicated themselves to fire and rescue service throughout the state.”

“My grandson had a lot of fun making the siren sound and got to ring the bell he also enjoyed playing inside the firetruck and putting on the firefighter outfit and hat. There are a lot of nice pictures and firetrucks to enjoy.”

“If you have someone in the family or a friend who is a fire fighter you need to see this museum. It is not big nor is it expensive to visit. It has a 1973 caddy ambulance that was still in use till a few years ago. That caddy is bigger than most boats. There is a ladder truck that tells the story of how it came to be. There is a notebook that talks of different disasters that fire fighters have dealt with in the area.”

“I really enjoyed the museum. It had a lot of common sense information about how to prevent fires but sometimes we all forget some of this important information. As dry as a lot of this country is, it was a good reminder that the main reason for any fire is YOU. There were also quite a few firetrucks to look at. Remember Smokey the Bear–he is there.”
