“This small museum is packed with history and memorabilia that does get changed out yearly. That allows for repeat visits. Good for kids too, because of the fire prevention and safety tips within the museum. Very kid friendly. also, has a quality Memorial Garden behind the museum recognizing and honoring the men and women who have dedicated themselves to fire and rescue service throughout the state.”

“If you have someone in the family or a friend who is a fire fighter you need to see this museum. It is not big nor is it expensive to visit. It has a 1973 caddy ambulance that was still in use till a few years ago. That caddy is bigger than most boats. There is a ladder truck that tells the story of how it came to be. There is a notebook that talks of different disasters that fire fighters have dealt with in the area.”

“I really enjoyed the museum. It had a lot of common sense information about how to prevent fires but sometimes we all forget some of this important information. As dry as a lot of this country is, it was a good reminder that the main reason for any fire is YOU. There were also quite a few firetrucks to look at. Remember Smokey the Bear–he is there.”
