What's New?

In addition to our permanent exhibits, the Nebraska Firefighters Museum & Education Center proudly rotates select fire apparatus each October. This annual update is part of our commitment to preserving and presenting the rich and diverse history of firefighting across Nebraska. Each year, we showcase different engines, trucks, and equipment from our collection, as well as featured vehicles on loan from fire departments throughout the state. This rotation ensures that every visit offers something new and engaging, encouraging guests to return year after year to explore Nebraska’s evolving firefighting story.

Visitors in the fall can look forward to seeing new historic vehicles on display, each with its own unique story of service, innovation, and bravery. Whether it’s a century-old pumper or a mid-century engine that once protected a rural community, our rotating exhibits keep the museum dynamic and engaging. We invite guests of all ages to return each October to rediscover the ever-evolving legacy of Nebraska’s firefighters.
