Throughout the years, there are many many lives that have been impacted by the work done by the thousands of firefighters & EMTs from across Nebraska. Whether the service was to put out a fire, to salvage a building, to rescue a family member, or to simply be available to put life & limb on the line for the safety & protection of their community, an adequate & lasting expression of thankfulness for their work is oftentimes never fully given.
A red & black brick Show of Support Sidewalk leads up to the LODD and the Nebraska Fire and EMS memorial and showcases the names and/or logos of individuals, families, businesses, departments & organizations who would like to express their pride in the fire & rescue services of their community and of the state!
The red & black paver bricks, can be personalized with your logo, image or message of appreciation & support, are available in varying sizes to be purchased & permanently placed in the sidewalk. These bricks may also be utilized for featuring a personalized name engraving for individual firefighters or EMTs, which may include his or her accomplishments, ranks, honors, etc., or may include information and/or a logo for a department, business or organization.
Nebraska firefighters have a long and rich history of serving and protecting our local communities. Therefore, when one of our courageous brothers or sisters answers the final alarm, he or she can be honored with more than flowers. The Nebraska Firefighters Museum & Education Center offers an opportunity for family and friends to create lasting memorials in honor of the legacy of their loved ones. Memorial donations to the Nebraska Firefighters Foundation will provide several ways to let the memory of your respected loved one live forever.
